Bioniks invited by Department of Health Abu Dhabi at Gitex 2018

Bioniks was invited by Gitex and sponsored by Department of Health Abu Dhabi to Gitex Future Stars 2018 as one of the most innovational and promising startups in Pakistan serving humanity through new-age, advanced prosthetics.
Gitex is one of the grandest technological festivals held in Dubai each year to showcase the wondrous and breathtaking progresses taking place around the world in all fields of life. From robotics to healthcare, Gitex presents an spectacular image of technology to the world that is within reach of the visitors and hobbyists that come to visit. There are games, exhibitions, premiers, sales, displays and rides for people from all walks of lives to enjoy.
Bioniks represented Pakistan on this esteemed platform for the second time after its first participation in 2016. It was largely welcomed and appreciated by high authorities including HRH Minister of Culture UAE, the Minister of Health and Ambassador of Pakistan to UAE. Many other enthusiasts approached and appreciated the efforts of Bioniks in providing unique and custom made prosthetics. (Check out the videos here!)
Bioniks officials were present for the full 4-days long event held at Zabeel Hall, Dubai World Trade Center. The focus of attention was Bioniks ambassador Mr. Rashid Zubairi who was there along with the Bioniks team wearing the weightless and brain-controlled prosthetic arm designed specifically along his needs. The abilities the arm provided, its fashionable and easy to use nature left all awestruck. The event was captured by many international news and tv sources like khaleej times and Aitnews – all of them highly appreciated the initiative and hardwork being put in to change the mindset of having to hide your disability to actually feeling proud of being different.
